Our Story

Our family of 4 (Reece, Alice, Nora (4 yrs) & Cody (1 yr) run Wildhand Farm which is a 25 acre property at Willunga Hill. 7 years ago we had a small dream to look after a piece of land, have a few cute farm animals and raise our kids there.

Reece used to do signage work in the city and Alice had a nutrition and marketing background. Our farming journey has been self taught with some amazing support from our family and the local community around us.
We started with 3 dogs and now have a farm full of Highland Cows, Valais Blacknose Sheep, Miniature Donkeys, Heritage Chickens and a 11 acre paddock of flowers that we get to share with our wonderful visitors every single week.

Our dream didn't happen overnight, we spent many years slowly improving the land, replanting trees and learning on how to do farm life best.

Along the way we discovered a few things...

1. Being out on the farm and working with the land does incredible things for your mental health.

2. Animals have a really special way of connecting with people and they have so much love to give if you build trust with them.

3. Farming and creating products from the land doesn't have to take away from the land and wildlife... it instead can contribute to its health and help it thrive better more than ever before.

And with all those things.. we wanted to share it with others.

So we built an agritourism farm that allows people to treasure wonderful moments here and hopefully leave feeling inspired to look after our local farmers and farming land a bit more.
